Rifugio Oltradige Al Roen - Überetscher Hütte

I rise on the slopes of Monte Roen, the highest peak of the Mendola mountain chain, watershed between South Tyrol and Trentino. From here I can admire a stunning panorama of the Val d'Adige, the Latemar Group, the Laogorai Chain, the Pale di San Martino and even the Queen of the Dolomites, the Marmolada.

There are many different ways to reach me, from the paths suitable also for families with young hikers to the more demanding ones. Here are some ideas:

BY CAR

from Val di Non, from the village of Amblar follow the signs and park near the alpine hut. From there, about 30 minutes of easy walking will be enough to get here.

from passo mendola

follow the path 500 which will take you to your destination in about 2 hours and 30 of hiking in the woods, overcoming an altitude difference of about 400 meters. Variant: continue by car to Campi Golf, where you can take a chairlift to shorten the time.

Fancy a more challenging difference in height? No problem, the choice is yours:
